Sri Venkateshwara Sweet Stall

The design reimagines the traditional Indian sweet shop as a contemporary retail and dining experience, balancing the familiarity of the brand with a refined architectural language.

A restrained palette of warm whites, wood and brass is layered with arched openings, ribbed surfaces and a structured coffered ceiling, creating rhythm and depth across the interior. Soft, integrated lighting accentuates the architectural elements while keeping the product displays at the centre of the experience.

The planning brings together retail, display and dining within a cohesive spatial framework, allowing the movement between these functions to remain fluid.

The result is a contemporary interpretation of a familiar typology—rooted in tradition, yet distinctly modern in its expression.
